volt, i understand that wealth and greed tend to blind the senses. however adept you are at buying well above fair value and dumping to a greater fool even higher above fair value - and you might be very good at this, or very lucky - it is a chumps game on avg. folks win the lottery all the time. the lottery is still a tax on folks who aren't good at math. just think about what you are saying. everyone w/b gazillionaires. everyone. it's soooo easy. the fact is most folks lose. look at the volume. low when stock prices are low. many times higher when the stock increases in value. a fall of 50% or so (well above any qcom moving avg) would devastate the avg investor. that being the case, though, enjoy the euphoria. it is fun. oh, and calculate the opportunity cost of not buying that winning lottery ticket... ;-) you see, your "logic" doesn't hold up. i agree that logic is not rewarded in this market. but, it will be rewarded eventually.
