Not exactly. Sales of Cyrix and/or IDT processors are actually quite strong. The MediaGX processor is now called Geode, and is being sold by National Semiconductor in volumes considerably larger than K7. As the only x86 SOC solution, this product has huge potential for growth.

VIA also has big plans for both the IDT and Cyrix processors which they own.

The embedded CPU market is growing much faster than the desktop market, and the potential return to shareholders is huge. Check out ARMHY, STM, HIT, MIPS for example. In case you haven't noticed, the big FPU boys haven't done diddly in the last few years.
