Yes, so i understand, though i do remember a time when the TA differentiated between outstanding and fully diluted. Not in the habit of calling them though. Thing is, in this case the person on the phone at the TA specifically responded 'No' to the question 'Does this figure include unexercised warrants and options?', the figure being the 42M as of close of business yesterday. Hence my somewhat mild confusion. Which is not helped much by the Oct99 AIF in the sedars, which says on page 12 "The Company has authorized only one class of shares, common shares without par value of which 34,339,717 are issued and outstanding as at October 13, 1999." Now i understand the term 'issued and outstanding' to exclude unexercised warrants and options, while the term 'fully diluted' includes them. Damn i wish we could all speak the same freakin' language, que podamos evitar tantas pendejadas -g- .. i would run this down better but have to go, meantime i'm sure you're right ... cheers
[edit] - a real clear picture of the share structure is a joy to see on a company's website ... mfl used to have one, don't know if they still do, it laid out all warrants, options, strike prices, terms, etc as well as the outstanding in a very clear table format ... AND they used language i could understand ... i liked that |
