Washington--Dec 30--The Chicago Federal Reserve district had the largest amount of the $2.9 billion in discount window loans outstanding as of Wednesday with $1.3 billion, the Fed said Thursday.

The Fed reported its 12 districts had the following discount window loans outstanding, in millions of dollars:

Boston 222
New York 743
Philadelphia 10
Cleveland 21
Richmond 18
Atlanta 436
Chicago 1,262
St. Louis 86
Minneapolis 14
Kansas City 18
Dallas 13
San Francisco 29 End>>
