Del, when you (or I, or anyone else) comments on religion, other than to describe specific rituals or scriptures, you are talking about opinions and beliefs, not facts.
It is impossible to prove that God does not exist. I would have a darn tough time proving the opposite.
Re calling people names, a good case could be made for your use of the word "Christian" as name calling. If you keep popping up out of the blue with your contempt for my beliefs, I will continue responding, however briefly, with my point of view.
You seem obsessed with putting down Christian faith. I don't mind whatever you think, but please stop shouting your hatred in my face.
I have told you before that I am not a student of the bible, so why do you pester me with questions. For me, it doesn't come down to the book, Del. It doesn't come down to a ritual or a shrine or a celebration. To me it comes down to what's in my heart and what makes my spirit healthy. I can't help if what is good for me, bothers you.
Can't you get on with your life, in whatever way you choose, without trying to put down the lives that other people choose? Perhaps you could think of it as a multi-cultural thing.
