I am honored that my negativism was sufficient to guess the result. But I am on record here as having observed many months ago that I thought an excellent investment opportunity if we had a hard time of it would be funeral homes. I subsequently relaxed my viewpoint somewhat.

Tomorrow will be interesting. The New York markets will be open while the century date change is progressing around the world. New Zealand will hit before our markets open. then Australia between hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 "Wall Street time" So we'll get a preview of whether it was smarter to be in the market or out of it, based on the immediate results experienced in these English speaking, supposedly Y2K sophisticated countries.
