I'm now out of CUBE. Reasons: 1) Could use the cash to expand ESST position which is dirt cheap 2) Sony single-chip MPEG-2 encoder proceeded faster than I expected. Was prepared for InnovaCom, CUBE, or NEC, not Sony delivering chips before year end. 3) Pressure from other companies re: MPEG-2/AC3 decoders. For example, SGS-Thompson's new offering and also larger PC board market under attack by offerings based on Chromatics, etc. 4) Uncertain VCD situation. ESST + CUBE statements dont agree. No reason to stay in stock when your assumptions when you bought it no longer hold. Good luck to CUBE longs. -Bill
