Ok, I'll go after the long ones. Most of my hunting was close up, not many long shots. Did nail a crossing goose at a measured 77 yards though. Lead plus shot drop. Amazed me. My best was one I never hit. I was hunting with a goof and he flushed some quail. 3 shots and not a feather. He reloaded and the rest flushed and he fired 3 times. I watched one bird go into a multifloral rose in a pasture. As we crossed the pasture I looked in the bush and there was a dead quail. Dummy thought he missed all 6 shots. About 50 yards past the bush I yelled "Doug a quail behind you". He's looking at the sky and then at me. I did a quick draw with my .22 revolver and cracked one off from the hip. Then I walked back and got the quail he had shot. Boggled his little mind.
