Yiwu, I don't have any statistics to refute the possibility, but I seriously doubt that 40% of the ADULT population have a net worth averaging $1,000. Maybe if this was Mexico the statement would be correct.

As for minimum wage, I doubt there are many head of household adults working for that rate especially in this era where jobs go begging for workers and wages are bid up to find applicants.
