Colleen, The Lord is truly in control. We just try to grab it from Him at times. I'm just thankful that I'm His child.

Let me share something with you that's been happening in my life recently. My 4 year old has had chronic stomach pain for the last few months and lately it is every day. I took her to the emergency room, got an x-ray and urine analysis: both negative. I didn't have peace. From there I took her to her pediatrician (actually it was his substitute). He couldn't find anything and so she had her blood tested and her stool examined. Again, both negative. The fact that I don't have any insurance has made my pocket also quite negative.

We talked to her regular pediatrician and upon yet another examination, he suggested a child psychologist. He said it may be her way of getting attention, albeit subconsciously.
Now this is when both my wife and I had peace from above. We don't intend on taking her through any human therapy, but we have taken this as His sign that He wants us to change things in the household.

I bring this all up because the last thing I would have thought of was that the mention of a child psychologist would be the "prompt" that would get my wife and myself to reevaluate the way we are handling things.

God is a very gracious God.
