Well, we'll disagree to the extent that people used to "disagree" about the centricity of the Earth vis-a-vis everything else. We "disagree" in the same way that one might disagree on the validity of astrology. In other words the disagreement is a figment of your imagination. Consult somebody with a background in mathematics and ask them why risk-free software using technical analysis isn't raking in billions as we speak. These technical analysis programs are generally conjured up by innumerate numbskulls working with historical figures looking for patterns that simply have no predictability in terms of when or if they will occur in a particular stock, sector or index. Some of those boneheads still manage to get a spot on a T.V. program every now and then to explain why they have been so wrong for so long, not realizing their earlier claims to fame were spurts of luck. There's no disagreement amongst knowledgable people, only amongst the innumerate. These are highly complex, non-linear systems. About 10,000 more complex than trying to compute where, say, a satellite will fall to the Earth. Try it, ask anybody what the margin of error is for that simple system where everything is seemingly a known quantity.
