GV, On the Y2K front, the only things that I have noted thus far are that about 5% credit card machines in Great Britain
malfunctioned and Charlotten NC's 911 system shut down. Right now Charlotte is processing 911 calls manually.


Curious, it's not Y2K yet in those places. Probably something else. I guess Y2K will get blamed for whatever. No glitches in Australia, I heard on the news. Oh, that news reported that someone "asked Jeeves" what time it is in Tonga, right on the dateline. Answer came back 1/1/19100.
