...GTE found small to mid size business clamoring during a trial in the Seattle area. The RBOC sent letters to businesses in its service area there and got 600 responses in 10 days, spokesman Bill Kula said. GTE had modems to only accomodate 100.

...The RBOC expects to offer service at 3 different price levels. The first, at a price of $60-$100 per month, will be marketed to users with non-mission critical needs because the bandwith may fluctuate.

...GTE plans to deploy ADSL service in Q3 or Q4 '97 in its larger markets, including Seattle, Dallas, Los Angeles and Tampa...
