Yea, I got the hard copy yesterday. The surprising thing is that they are working with Intel for L2 catch for the next speed bump PPro IIs. Intel is moving to 0.25 u and >330 Mhz - they will need faster memories for the processors to take advantage of their speed. The article also mentioned that Trident has found the parts to be an advantage in the current generation 3D graphics performance and is expected to be required in the next generation (probably hitting the end of this year). It will be interesting to hear what role IDTI will play in the production of these parts. For others on the borad; IDT owns a part of Mosys and has foundry and do-development/productoin agreements.
