GV, And unlike most of the posters on this thread, I much prefer having cold winters with lots of snow. Count me in. I love the snow and lots of it. If you've never taken a walk in the hills on a snowy day, you've missed out on one of life's most beautiful experiences. The snow muffles all the sound and you become aware of everything around you. If you love dogs, the sight of them romping in the snow is the sight of pure joy. I grew up in snow and my lifelong fantasy has always been to get snowbound in a cabin for about a week. -Robert
