Slider: From all the acrimony on this board, one would thin the OSX is crashing instead of soaring. Now up nearly 4% -- erasing yesterday's loss. Whether one supported this fiasco, or opposed it as I did, the root cause of the conflict had nothing to do within rights. No the issue was OIL. And that is also the issue in the Chechynia. "It seems to me the only logical explanation for the West's determination to destroy Yugoslavia is oil. Western nations have cut a deal with the former countries of the Soviet Union to transport Caspian Sea oil by pipeline, which bypasses Russia. Once the oil is in Turkey, a logical way to move some of the oil to Europe is up the Danube, which runs through Yugoslavia. Apparently NATO doesn't want any independent-minded countries along the oil route, more especially if they have ties to Russia. Otherwise, the only logical explanation for the NATO attack on Yugoslavia is just wanton cruelty and viciousness. May God forgive them."
