You should be looking at the M3 money supply...coupon passes and such. The fed has put over 100 billion into the system in the past couple of months. The fed has been keeping the money supply very liquid. Another think is the a/d has actually been improving a great deal in the past few days indicating a broader participation in the advances. The only index that I really care about as a general indicator is the S&P 500. The naz and djia are just noise to me. And a very happy new year to you and yours too. Lunch next year??? Tom
