My Story: No Market knowledge--Lost a lot in Mining Stocks--Gave up on market
In Nov 1998 I talked to Voltaire and he took the time to explain what he had been doing.......(I didn't get it for a year). In March '99 after talking to Voltaire I asked him how much money I needed. He said $30,000. (QCOM@300). I only had $6,000 in cash but I did have good credit (see it does pay, never knew how much until today) I borrowed $25,000.00. Now I have $31,000.00.......I am a gambler....("Please don't try this at home") :-)
Anyway I set out to improve on Voltaire's ways and ideas (1st stupid mistake I made)....I did not go in AOL I went into RNWK....I went up and down, in and out, up and down.........7 months later I figured this is not getting it and wondered what am I doing wrong. I must have missed something he said...........soooo
On Oct. 23, '99: I said "O.K. Voltaire run that by me one more time........(Thank goodness he had the patience to try and help me understand)....I made up my mind to do exactly as he said at all times, the odds seemed to be in my favor if I did. Finally on Nov 4, 1999 I sold my RNWK ($53,684.90) and moved everything lock stock and barrel into QCOM options and leaps.
What fun and what a ride it has been. Voltaire! I know you are smiling because I know where you get your greatest pleasure from. That is helping others succeed. There is no way that I could pay you for what you have done for me and my family. We will be able to retire...travel and help others. There is not a doubt in my mine that your angels will continue to surround you and the blessings will continue to pour down upon you. I love ya man!
Greg: I would like to apologize to you for responding to some of your post with more that a courteous attitude. (I am working on having more tolerance for other people's opinions.) You have been nothing but kind to me. You have singularly taken it upon yourself to give Voltaire the incentive to stretch....with your offerings of the fine bottles of Dom. ;-) I owe you. Take care of your back and I wish you continued success in the market.
Jim Wille: Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! For all of your post...when you were gone I was having withdrawals and went over to read your old posts. You are appreciated. Did you say the second Quillion is easier than the first? Somehow thAt "Billion" looked like it fit on you this A.M.

To all my new found friends many thanks for all of your post. I am sure many of you are Quillionaires over and over and if you are not keep the faith you will be soon.
Once I got in QCOM I stayed in. Rolled up and over, but not out. I saw Peter Lynch on TV the other day and he said the market had corrected 10% at least 14 times during his professional life and he always stayed in the market. You gotta ride out the storms. Qualcom has been my only holding until recently. I have started taking some of my profits and purchasing a little GSTRF. Some options some stock.
BTW I haven't started spending yet and I can't afford to pay the credit card back. I'm making to much money it. I will force myself someday soon, just to be debt free.
As Jim Rohn would say: "After you become a Quillionaire, you can give all of your money away because what's important is not the Quillion dollars; what's important is the person you have become in the process of becoming a Quillionaire."
