dmf, I enjoyed your reminisces this am. I do miss the seasons living here in LA, but to compensate for my loss, I enjoy them by traveling to them when I want to - like Sept in New England - or Thanksgiving or Christmas in NY - or FL in May - or New Orleans in Dec - or Aspen in July or Feb. Chicago for New Years is something I used to do too but I've given that one up. Actually, my wife, a CA native, prevailed on me not to do that again based on a freezing 12/31 eve years ago. I wish you and all the others here a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year/Century/Millenium. We are definitely a community - virtual only in an electronic sense but in any other sense like any other.
