I generally do not cuss.....but......I do at times slip up...Oh to be human.

WEll, one night when the oldest three were about 4, 3 and 1, we were driving home. and they were wild. I was annoyed that their dad was following behind...with NO KIDS. We did not want to take the time to switch the car seats to the truck. Well the kids had pushed my last button. I told them if they did not stop I would spank their ass.

(don't tell anyone on feelies that I had said that.....they will accuse me of child abuse.....) anyway...

The next night......my 3 1/2 year old son...says to his sister. You better stop that or I'll spank your ass. His dad was horrified.
He told him to go down stairs and tell your mother what you said....
Michael came downstairs..with dad close behind him and prompted Michael to tell. Michael would not repeat it......So his dad said.....He said.....Emily, you stop that or I'll spank your ass.
I replied...by saying somewhat loudly....."Michael, where did you learn that?!?!?" He looked at me in total shock.....until I followed it with....."Did you learn that from your mother in the car last night??"
It was then my husband's turn to me in total shock......

I just smiles......and said....."lovely huh??"
