Hi Marshall, Dennis, Dylan, Tittle, John C, Pops, and all the rest of the old Rainsters. All the Very Best for the coming year in Health, Wealth and Good Times! I'll check back from time to time, but I sold all the rest of my RAIN this morning and established a tax loss for future years. Too bad that you can only write off 3K a year... Anyway, all of you folks have been the greatest! Take Care... Its a friggin' Jungle out there!!! (Thanks to people like Lyle Berman!) Happy 2000, Mel and Sparky the wonder pup

Here is my post to TMFEdible over on TMF today for your info.

Rick, Well I just sold ALL of the rest of my RAIN stock at a very Large Loss! I really can't believe that I held it so long, watching it be eaten away by bad management and decreasing SSS figures. But then our good ol' world class poker player CEO decided that he had other plans for what I still think is a super restaurant concept. Boy, did I ever get taken in. Anyway, I am completely out of this stock, even sold the few shares we had stashed away in our Roth IRAs. I will be able to utilize the tax loss, but who really wants to sell for that! I really did appreciate your coverage of the company and you were one who kept thinking that the company would turn around. Well, maybe it will, but I can't take the "sleaze factor" in a basically good company. Just terrible management and nepotism is all I see along with what appears to be a "buyout" for pennies on the dollar. That is about all I got out of my thousands of dollars of our retirement money. Adios my friend. Mel
