As a newcomer to this Gorilla Gaming, I want to thank Frank for starting a thread that was recognized early on as having "the potential to be special." (Teflon's Post 469) This thread has indeed proven itself to be special. I've been here a little over a month, and have benefited greatly from the interchange. I know my portfolio has changed profoundly. I exchanged one Q for the Q. (Sold Qwest, bought Qualcom, which is up over 80% in a little over a month). Also bought, GMST, SEBL, JDSU to add to my CSCO, ORCL, SUNW, LU.

Still hold some small caps that I continue evaluating for any signs of simian dna, and will either sell outright next year or hold in a separate basket as "bright shiny pebbles."

And to any lurkers and newbies out there, in addition to reading the manual and its prequels, I highly recommend reading the entire thread from Post Number 1. It was breathtaking to read the genesis of the choices ultimately included in the G&K portfolios.

Finally, my wish for all thread members and their families: a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year.

Janet
