Well, Bill, Y2K has finally hit the Left Coast...what an incredible journey into the unknown this has been and what super lessons I have learned.

I'm grateful beyond belief to my contacts who helped reduce my fear about 10 days ago by a factor of 10.

And I'm grateful the net is up.
And I'm grateful my bios was flash instead of non-programmable.
And I'm grateful my taxes are done before year end...WOW...that is a relief all its own.<g>
I'm grateful the 20% power down on the left coast by the biggie 300megawatt generation plants didn't wipe out the vulnerable PNW.

I am so very very glad for the extra stuff on hand, and the incredible 2 years' journey into a better sense of security and long range planning.

Now, I can re-introduce the investment opportunities slowly through the first quarter when all the litigation and confession of actual prep expenses is finally fessed up to as the need for creative corporate accounting is lessened and the horrendous Sue and Labor lawsuits work their way through the already overworked legal system.

And I'm so very very glad we have lived to tell the tale that the incredible hours put in and still being put in I might add by the vigilant and the programmers both here and abroad have minimized so far the shortsightedness of our "fore-programmers" of the 1950s.

Thanks to the technology guys and his ilk who stuck it out and did what appears to have been the impossible.

I'm headed for the sack and a very very long night's sleep. Who do you like in the bowl games tomorrow? I don't have any favorites. Do you?
