Kind of a good thing that Casey was allowed to start and play the whole game. Maybe a passing of the torch. He played a pretty good game and began to show that he CAN stay put (relatively speaking) and hit the hot receivers on a blitz, and also throw the long ball. Among the concerns Joe addressed from 1999, Casey as a QB, Senneca's talent, running back by committee(and how they need to decide to give one person an opportunity to be the go to back), and of course replacing Sandusky (my guess is the home grown Bradley).

Hey, I guess 10-3 is not so bad with a shutout victory in the bowl. With lower expectations in 2000, they might just surprise some people.

Sorry to see Minnesota lose their bowl game, I think that makes the Big Ten 2-1 in bowl games so far.
