Thanks for the new thread,,, Quick question,, I just downloaded all of last years transactions from Penson in the qif file format and imported it into quicken 2000. When i generate a capital gains report there are several realized gains that make no sense. It seems that quicken is picking certain trades and instead of correctly matching up a buy and sell,, it is just adding them together producing an irrelevant figure. like 550 shs of xyz security,, sales price= 7500 cost basis 7200= a total loss of 14,700 instead of a 300 dollar gain. It does this on i dont know how many but i need to know how to fix it if possible,,, thanks:)
