But for now, just want to know, Is MVIS going to be another QCOM?? jdn
Not to hype but those of us who've been around for any time with this company, feel the potential is there. When one considers the increasing awareness coupled with spectrum of applications in the medical, communications, defense, industrial and gaming sectors, then, to answer your question, "Why not?!".
As long as they continue to be protective of their patent portfolio and we know they are. Competition? We should welcome additional acceptance and notoriety. There's plenty of room. Leadership will be the key IMHO. Look at IDC. They have CDMA technology and patents. Its stock is gaining momentum as a competitor to QCOM. Sure hasn't slowed QCOM down any. There's no one out there with anything close to MVIS in VRD's stage of development. They/we are way ahead in this arena.
In 2« years of accumulating my investment I'm up over 300% so I feel pretty safe through any volatility (and there will be more) but I held and added when the returns were far lower. I betting on this one to be, in Mark Calder's words, a wealth-builder. I have no plan to sell in the near term. I generally like to take profits off the table and ride on the house's money but not with MVIS. We're just getting started.
