Why that argument it just silly. That argument would imply that cultures with laws based on rules other than the Bible would be killing each other willy nilly. All societies I am aware of have penalties for killing unjustly- whatever unjustly happens to be defined as.

You don't need the 5th commandment to work out that killing your neighbor (or anyone else) isn't a good idea in a society. Even primitive tribes know that if you kill somebody from another trine someone from YOUR tribe is probably going to be next.

And I'd bet the cave men disappeared before the coming of the Bible. Great civilizations rose without the 5th commandment (Mesopotamia, Egypt etc)- and they no doubt held people accountable for killing. Cave men probably even held other cave men accountable for killing- I mean if they dressed for DINNER and all, they aren't going to be COMPLETE savages? Are they?
