Nasdaq 777, I'm not pointing any fingers lots of people got suckered. You should not feel alone for paying, Steve made a killing off of this.
I can see how people would pay for Steve's list. If they didn't know what board to read on SI or if they haven't read my post about Steve's 1999 record, maybe one could be confused and feel they had to pay for picks. Steve has knowledge of the internet and has made some nice calls so that alone might have sold some people.
I think what really sold people on this list was greed not that people couldn't pick their own stocks. They thought ol' Steve would do the right thing for them so they could make some money by having Steve's all important list before others. Lay your money down and count on Steve's HYPE to make you money was the game plan, bummer things didn't work out that way. LOL
Well so much for greed, the greedy got screwed. It will be interesting to see if they blame Steve, themselves or both. A LOL a minute if you are sitting back and being nice and thinking (not saying) I told you so. LOL
My point has always been to be your own expert.
After the 1999 list, IMO anyone who paid for the 2000 list was a sucker in the first place. After seeing the list and how it came out, I'm sure people were suckers.
I take no joy in the fact that people were suckered. I just would like to say to those who attacked me for doing the right thing and pointing out Steve's 1999 record that you people are the biggest suckers of all. Stock Morons of the first order.
Getting suckered is one thing, we all get suckered every once in a while but being a stock moron, attacking someone who points out the facts, there really is no excuse for that. I DO take joy in knowing that stock morons got suckered. Dunces with Quotes are an amusing part of SI.
OJ and Steve Harmon have one main thing in common, some people are willing to overlook the truth because they get blinded by someone who has fame. I'm not impressed and I have no problem seeing the facts. Fact is a sucker is born every minute. In the 1800s they sold snake oil, in 2000 it is a list of 10 internet stocks. Double LOL!
