While we are creating the SI Drilling "Ass Whipped" poster child award for 1999 I am nominating a few candidates that I think equally deserving of the award. The envelope please: finance.yahoo.com What this says about the respective industries I don't really know. Maybe the NG E&P story wasn't as big as some thought? Gee I dunno, I ain't that smart - you guys figure it out. I do know that most who purchased these stocks back in the late summer and early fall lost lots of money. All excepting the traders. Fortunately I dumped most of mine and had the money to load up on OII and PTEN. WOW! MDR 40% in one day! Sure glad I didn't sell fgh and buy this dog!
