What matters is that IDX is the monster now.......having lined up most of the heavy hitters. Mot, MC, NEC, Compaq, and so on.

I would have to point to what VRSN was able to do....having a head start...quietly signing up a big chunk of the Fortune 500....pull a chart......They have outperformed the competition.....big.

Amazon is another example of a stock that got in first......built up the business......They are rewarded with a very nice premium for being the market leader. (even though I think AMZN is about to loose the premium....he he.)

If you look at the biometric industry....you will see IDX.......and then a huge dark space...a gap, if you wish......until you find a bunch of little biometric companies, most of whom the general investing public would want to avoid.

IDX is in a very unique position.......similar to VRSN's.

Watch what happens if any market attention turns to biometric data security....it will be breathtaking. Anyone who looks at the field.....will buy IDX.

I think you will see this attention somewhat soon......I will be adding to my IDX position.......which is already rather nice. I think it will end up being a good decision........perhaps as good as buying VRSN 18 months ago.

ps. VRSN will team with IDX.....down the road.....soon. Both are market leaders.....and IDX has the product that VRSN needs to offer their customers.....and VRSN needs the best product. Beautiful?

IDX will rocket on any VRSN partnership....IMO. Heck, there are 6 or 7 different things that could make IDX take off.....that is the neat part of owning the stock.
