Although I've been a faithful lurker of the thread since the first of November when I took my initial position in the Q and have continued to average up along the way, it helps my long term perspective by continuously viewing these facts:

1) Had you invested $10,000 in Cisco in 1990, your investment would now be worth in excess of 3M.

2) $10,000 in Microsoft in 1986 would be worth in excess of 4M.

3) That same $10,000 in Yahoo as early as 1996 would be worth several hundred thousand today.

Although $10,000 at the beginning of 1999 invested in the Q is staggering, I believe, as many of you, we will be astounded at our returns five years from now provided the fundamentals remain.

Thanks to all the knowledgeable people that continue to educate me on daily basis and Happy New Year to all.

Regards,
Fred
