Uh, it's not like I really want CB to continue this or anything, always a waste of time arguing with the guys. But is "Danny Boy" supposed to be a term of endearment? Like all the faux Christmas cheer around here? Somehow, I don't think your friend the other Bill much likes it when the equivalent name goes out in his direction, the "Danny Boy" taunt seems to go into hibernation when I do that. But I guess that's another one of those dish it out things.
Aside from the numerous recent versions of that one that come up in a quick search here, there's this old one, from the dreaded other thread, that I hadn't stumbled on before. Message 10311460 Like Vaughn's more recent post, Message 12401700, in the impeccable good taste that you guys specialize in dishing out.
I don't blame Neocon for anything, I actually very much regret ever having argued with him at all. Waste of time, like all the rest. As for who, exactly, I followed in here, it's a little convoluted, it's more CobaltBlue than anybody. Courtesy of her own little saga with you guys. Some innocent third party noticed Message 11536369, asked Liz what happened to me, sent me some email. The innocent third party wouldn't even mention CB's name, but it didn't take much detective work to patch the story together.
So maybe it's all your fault, Ish. If you could have just let it rest, and not have to keep posting insults to somebody who couldn't answer them, you guys could have gone on with your usual high level dialog without me around as an additional target that could respond. It's nice that you've all chosen Neocon as your designated victim here, but after the "criminalize public breast feeding" saga, followed by the "make America safe for spanking" saga, well, what does it matter? Maybe he'll make it all better by posting a hundred more song lyrics or something.
Oh, and one last passing remark on the CobaltBlue saga. There's a couple old posts from you on Sanity that, as near as I can tell, were equivalent to her own grievous death penalty crime. Except that there was a whiff of a threat of violence in them. Just for the record, I really, truly, have no desire whatsoever to meet you in person, the virtual contact has been plenty distasteful by itself.
Cheers, Dan. |
