Hello thread, I lost a bet to PB! About four months ago, PB and I made a bet. I though Gateway will announce a Athlon based machine in 1999. PB predicted that they won't. The loser had to publicly acknowledge his ignorance. *I was wrong* and PB was right in his prediction.** When the latest rumors of Athlon in GTW machines surfaced and was picked up on by likes of Zdnet coupled by people reporting from GTW sales reps that Athlons are indeed coming shortly, I thought I had it in the bag.
