Adding to the questions about Penson:

I want to do something very basic.

See the P&L of matched trades including commissions in text or any other form accessable to Excel.

Of all the modes and options Penson has they seem to be lacking the most obvious. Add to that the fact that Cyber-X does not report P&L including commissions and you have a documentation system that to me is completely useless.
