Anyway it would be in PacBell's interest to carry @Home because like AOL, and MSPG-ELNK

Current exclusivity agreements would not allow @home to run over a PacBell fiber network- would they?

Its going to be an interesting race of timing. What happens if FTTC is available while @home is still forced to use HFC? My gut feel is that the timing will work out ok though. AT&T is also sure to put up a good fight along the way- might accelerate them providing FTTC as well.

@home needs to grab as many customers as they can while they are exclusive with the MSO's and then provide a good enough customer experience that the customers will stick with them when other ISP's have access to cable and @home has access to other means of providing broadband.
