Nice to see such diverse and lively 'virtual conversations' to start the new Millenuium. I for one paid for his list for the following reasons:

1. He is a well respected analyst with a large following.
2. I expected to receive the list Sunday night to give me
time to research the companies. The release on Friday
gives me more time - correct?
3. I did not expect to jump in to ten stocks blindly on
Monday morning. I can do that by myself (former DT here)
4. I would never have posted the list as I would consider
that a violation of copywrite and tos. (also stupid)
Why give away what I pay for.

I did not pay for the list for the following reasons:

1. To see if I could get in 'pre-market' and beat the herd.
2. For a few quick points if I could buy pre-market (which
I can if I so desire)
3. These were supposed to be investments for the Year 2000
NOT DAYTRADES FOR JAN 3 !!
I may or may not buy some or all of these as I already own NETP, SCOC, CNET, CMGI all bought without his "list".FWIW I 'shared ' the cost of the list with my father and brother-in-law so I'm only out $33. Last thought , I feel it would be almost more reckless and irresponsible to release the list pre-market or early am Monday and then encourage everyone to rush in and buy, buy, buy ..Mortimer we're ruined (sorry I couldn't resist) Hope everyone has a safe and great New Year and good luck. Remember - the road to ruin is lined with yesterday's pundits.
