Dick I will give it a try... JDS Fitel went public @ $12.00 JDS had a 3:1 split $4.00(adjusted price date not sure) JDS merged with UNPH $2.0342(each JDS share=.50855 JDU.) JDU had a 2:1 split $1.171 (December 1999) Note during the JDS / UNPH merger any fractional shares (Page S-82 of the merger doc) no fractional shares resulting from the merger will be issued. They will be sold and the funds paid to the shareholder. Regards Glenn
