I think Walmart is the next Walmart.

Amazon may be the next K-Mart.......That's what some informed analysts will be saying shortly.

Walmart has very deep pockets and a powerful partner. They can grab 70% of the new customers for next Christmas....offer better pricing......same day pick up.....free shipping......and so on.

They could buy up 1/2 of the advertising space of next year's Thanksgiving day NFL games.......loose a bundle.....and just wink.

And......

In light of AMZN's financial condition.....I would not mortgage your house to buy this stock. I hope you were not serious.

In fact....I would be careful even using margin here.

Jeeesh..... this is the "modern capitalist maverick" problem. Going into debt to buy speculative stocks can lead to disaster.
