I have to confess brother, that I have times even remembering the different camps people fall into concerning eschatology let alone understanding all the differences. Was that all done by memory? I have to read your message again. So far I guess I would fall in to the Pre-Millenialist theory. With all the talk, it's amazing how many people argue this over and over again (not talking to you, personally) without really thinking that our "rapture" could occur before the day is over. Let's stay ready. One thing we all know: He is coming!
I have a question for you. How do we know, really know we got all the right books for the New Testament? I haven't read that much on church history, but I do know that some books such as Hebrews, 1 Peter, were not easily accepted by the early church. There was considerable disagreement by our church fathers. Now it took up to the 16th century I believe before the Apocryphal books were eliminated (Catholics still have them). Why should we be so sure the bible as we know it today is everything God intended it to be? Is it possible we missed a book or added an extra one. Like I said, the New Testament was not without controversy before its final acceptance.
Have you ever read some of the so called "forgotten books" like Clement? Some of this stuff is incredibly inspiring and at times has made me wonder why it wasn't accepted.
