Financial Post, Jan 1 confirms THW for sale. "Software firm Totally Hip puts itself on the block Vancouver - Totally Hip Software Inc. has put itself up for sale. The tiny, struggling Vancouver firm sells software packages to Web designers, interactive video producers and other multimedia professionals. "By publicly stating we're looking to be acquired we believer it's the best thing for us," Randall McCallum, president and chief executive, said yesterday. Recently, the company laid off 12 of its 23 staff and stopped plans to develop software for the consumer market. The company has attracted such clients as Time Warner Inc., Panasonic, Yahoo! and Walt Disney Co."
