DownSouth,
<< a "King" cannot transition to a Gorilla. >>
Are you sure? <g> I'm not convinced of this, and there are some specific references in the RFM that I think might back this up, or at least leave open the possibility of such a transition.
<< We have debated it numerous times, but no one has really, IMO, given a good case for Gorillahood >>
I've followed the debate. I am not sure the case can be made at this time, either. If the case could be made, an individual like Bulldozer who is familiar with Gorilla Game concepts, and also is highly focused on the company and the industry it serves, is in a good position to make it. Bulldozer has on several occasions referred to JDSU as a King, so a King they are until he sayeth differently. I would certainly be interested in any comments he might have in this regard.
<< As for Moore's opinion, he has not substantiated, even in his own terms, the young gorilla speculation. >>
Do you subscribe the list-serv?. I do not currently (unsubscribed about mid summer). If he or others have offerred any substantiation as regards JDSU gorillahood, it probably exists there. I remain a bit intrigued about the JDSU comment ascribed to him in the Money Central article, however.
<< I would love to find the evidence that JDSU is a Gorilla. It is my second largest holding and I will hold it for a very long time through dips and curves until its throne is truly threatened. >>
Likewise. Likewise. Likewise.
