Well, I didn't want to lose your respect! Not that a drunken orgy doesn't occasionally sound appealing.
I can't believe B. is 16. Enjoy, enjoy. I was in the store the other day, and a woman walked by with a little blond toddler in OshKoshes running beside her. It looked so much like Ammo at that age, the fuzzy white hair, the way he walked so eagerly, his big blue eyes takiing everything in, my heart stopped. I had a physical ache, a yearning so strong it really took my breath away. I wanted so much to go back, for just one day, to know the feel of him again, that warm, sweet wiggly body cuddling into my lap. He is still a hugger, but now he enfolds me in his arms. How did it happen so fast.
At CW's birthday dinner the other night, a woman began breastfeeding at the next table. CW was horrified. I said, good grief, tell me exactly what you see, which of course was nothing; she was quite discreet.
I have failed somehow- as I have always been in favor of public breastfeeding, done with discretion of course. Maybe men just associate breasts so strongly with sex that it gets confused in their minds. Or maybe you have to have been there, experienced it, to feel the magic of what happens between mother and child, the peace of having everything else become extraneous for that time, so that you can never look on it as objectionable. I hate to make any mother feel that there is any hint of "nastiness" or unacceptability to this natural and nurturing act. There are so many real and horrible atrocities being committed-- this seems an odd issue to get riled about.
CW got an earful. Stacy just ate her steak quietly. Dan pretended he was somewhere else.
What does the year hold.....

Or I write a bestseller and get to appear on Oprah.
Rice decides CW doesn't HAVE to pay to go there, they love him so much, they pay him.
Dan mysteriously begins pitching at 100 mph and is drafted immediately by the Rangers.
