Hi, dear! Even though it is wonderful that they grow up, it is hard not to miss those great days of early childhood--especially in retrospect, when the moments when they were sick or just plain exasperating don't intrude. My mother would sometimes take out photos of me when I was a toddler after I had visited her. She enjoyed the contrast.

Think, though: The time is not too far ahead when you will have grandchildren to hold while they wiggle in your lap.
