dmf, thanks. My daughter just wants mathmatica for the fun. Her school uses matLab. (if i can down load either from somewhere please let me know). my email is sonki1@yahoo.com There are many schools/univ shifting towards sun & servers, i will get u a link on this from sun.com under education or news. when schools/univ start seeing this as a standard then the next wave of graduates will have been raised w. sun and will obviously choose sun for their company.
