A huge issue for me with amzn is what will they do with all these investments.

Apparently, most could benefit if AMZN will impart some of its fulfillment expertise to them.

As to the accounting, it would be nice if fulfillment costs were separately stated; however, I know of no requirement that they do so. I do believe that if they were "upside down" in their variable costs, we'd be seeing it as an audit exception...
