Christine, I would argue that our ancestors didn't get cancer because they didn't live long enough. It is mostly an aging disease. Go visit an old cemetery sometime and look at the ages that they died at. Most of them ate organic food, because they didn't have pesticides. I'll take modern agriculture. The big problem I see is people eating too much of it. I have noticed a definite fattening of the population over the last few years. There are going to be a lot of health problems as a result.
