And for those who asked, John Schmitz has not paid his $100,000 fine nor his $20,000 restitution. Interest is accruing.

Oh, my. He hasn't paid for his crimes? So, what could the NASD do to secure payment? Do they pursue individuals like this and slap liens on them? And this woman, she hasn't recovered any of her monies, either? Is there a statute of limitations?
