I never see the Bible used for oaths, except on TV. As I never administer oaths, I have to admit I don't even listen when they are administered, but I don't think they even say "so help me God" anymore. I think they just say, "do you swear to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth," and the witness raises his/her hand and says, "I do," and if they say that their religion prohibits swearing, then they can affirm.
