niceguy, re:t is now AMD who holds the trump...They'll fit GTW in when and if there is supply left over after fulfilling demand requirements of other vendors who hopped aboard the Athlon Express in 1999 . Conversely GTW will announce when and if they can agree to supply terms with AMD.

That's how I see it too! IMHO, by mid Q1'00, power of dictating supply terms will shift to AMD from OEMs that are not already on board with Athlon. The market will perceive not having Athlon based systems in an OEM's product offerings as more negative to that OEM than to AMD.
