Wang sued over a system that predates computers?

Dave, name one patent case decided on a change of bandwidth. I don't think I* or the hundreds of companies who posess CDMA patents want them plundered by "bandwidth".

Qualcomm has successfully settled with several companies (I*, Phillips, and Ericsson) on the strength of their patent portfolio and have licensed them to sixty more companies.

Is it safe to assume bandwidth was not the deciding factor?

I am convinced that it wasn't.

When you are able to modify the PentiumIII design to operate at a lower supply voltage and clock frequency than Intel's, AND beat them on the ensuing injunction and lawsuit.

Let us know.

I will travel to the ends of the world to set up a live webcast of you personally getting kneed in the groin by both the EIA and CTIA.
